Profile Summary
- Richard Jeppesen has over 30 years' experience in the construction industry principally in contracting but also with property developers and house builders.
- For the 14 years prior to joining Melbury Richard was the part owner and director of a small local building company in the Home Counties. As a Director Richard was involved in all aspects of running the business as well as construction operations. Richard took responsibility for all the surveying duties including; estimating, surveying, invoicing and preparing applications for payment and the agreement of final accounts. Richard was also responsible for the day to day running of the business.
- Richard has worked as a Project Manager for a house builder, developer and in professional practice and has experience of working closely with other construction professionals and contractors to bring projects from inception to completion.
Specialist Skills
- Knowledge of all aspects of construction procurement, including negotiating with consultants and contractors, resolution of details and focusing on the client's requirements.
- Ability to stand back and assess a situation, consult and consider the best options to achieve a solution.
- Having run a construction company for 14 years, deep knowledge of the working methods of construction companies and their accounting procedures.
